Job summary

Mohegan Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced bartender to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests and Beverage Servers, following department procedures and steps of service. You will operate the POS, monitor intoxication levels, uphold state liquor laws, upsell using endorsements, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar during fast-paced shifts.

This role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to work varied shifts on the casino floor while ensuring safety

Qualifications

Previous bartending experience required.
Knowledge of beverage service techniques and ingredients.
Ability to upsell and endorse products.

Responsibilities

Fills drink orders per the Beverage department’s recipes and standards.
Uses point of sale terminal and completes other cashiering functions.
Complies with state liquor laws including identification procedures, monitoring intoxication, intervention strategies, refusal of service and shutoff procedures.
Actively up-sells products and uses endorsements at service opportunities.
Sets-up and breaks down assigned bar in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Maintains sanitation and safety standards in assigned work areas.
Interacts with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintains proper par levels of beverage products, supplies and glasses.
Communicates to management on inventory and maintenance needs.
