Job summary

Grinders Above and Beyond in Alliance, OH is looking for a part-time bartender/server. Knowledge of cocktails, beer and wine is preferred; after training you will be proficient with all menu items and deliver a warm, friendly dining experience to guests.

You will greet guests, arrange and set up tables, keep the bar organized and stocked, handle cash and change, and assist other staff as needed. This team is close-knit, family-owned, and offers flexible hours, meal discounts, and benefit options.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer and wine.
• After training, will know all menu items offered on the beverage menu.
• Greet guests with a warm, friendly smile and ensure the best dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly smile and go above and beyond to ensure the best dining experience.
• Arranges and sets up guests tables.
• Keeps bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Responsible for having server bank, counting back change, cashing out guests.
• Must be able to perform all job descriptions and tasks assigned by management.
• Team player and helps support other staff in their duties.
• Serves guests speedily and accurately. Ability to bar top and guest tables.
