Job summary

Genghis Grill is seeking a Bartender to deliver timely, accurate, and friendly guest service while crafting beverages per recipes. You will grow sales through repeat guests and maintain a clean, safe bar area.

The position requires knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and drink recipes, with the ability to handle cash quickly and accurately. Must be available for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Must maintain all required state and local food and alcohol certifications.
• Must be available to a variety of opens, swings, and closes including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate outstanding hospitality and service throughout each shift with guests, managers, and team members.
• Demonstrates teamwork.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests.
• Accepts guest payments and processes quickly and accurately in accordance with Genghis Grill cash handling policies.
• Follows company cash handling policies and procedures.
• Completes opening duties, shift, and closing duties.
• Prepares non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room guests.
• Assists guests at the bar top and with to-go orders.
• Follows all sanitation and safety policies.
• Maintains the bar ensuring it remains stocked throughout the shift.
• Prepares all bases and garnishes for alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintains a safe working environment and report any safety issues to management immediately.
• Maintains valid state and local food handlers and alcohol certifications.
• Adheres to all Genghis Grill policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Advises Restaurant Manager/General Manager/Regional Director of any non-routine
