Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club is seeking Bartenders to join our team.

About Us

A revolutionary dining, drinking, and entertainment venue located across from Delta Center in Fountain Plaza at The Gateway. Owned and operated by Carver Road Hospitality, our complex features a restaurant, three bars, 400 square feet of LED screens, private karaoke and golf simulator rooms, a nightclub, and a cocktail lounge with bowling. We serve American bar and grill favorites along with eclectic dishes and handcrafted desserts, all prepared in our full kitchen.

Position Summary

The Bartender prepares all alcoholic beverages, takes orders, provides complete food and beverage service, and ensures a positive guest experience. Interaction with guests, staff, and management is expected to be polite, respectful, and courteous.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance standards.
• Provide exceptional service to anticipate and meet guest needs.
• Present menus, answer questions, and recommend items.
• Inform guests of specials and prices.
• Solicit allergy or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and handle payments properly.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and venue.
• Organize liquor displays and maintain par levels.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of menus and offerings.
• Create an energetic and fun environment.
• Serve alcohol in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Adhere to sanitation standards.
• Complete end-of-shift financial procedures accurately.
• Communicate guest needs to relevant staff and management.
• Set up bar stations, perform opening/closing duties, and follow requisition procedures.
• Report equipment or furniture damage.
• Participate in pre-service meetings and ongoing training.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude and support team members.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous bartending experience, especially in high-volume settings.
• Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods, up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive motion tasks and exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
• Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
