Job summary

Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) seeks a bartender to operate bar areas, prepare beverages, and manage stock at Fort Benning. Responsibilities include recording sales, handling change, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, completion of sanitation training within 30 days, and compliance with pre-employment checks, including E-Verify and background assessments.Weekend/night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
• Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Ability to identify people who become unruly or appear intoxicated and handle accordingly.
• Must complete initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days and annual refresher training.

Responsibilities

• Sets up bars, maintains stock, and ensures easy access to items.
• Prepares simple alcoholic beverages as requested, records sales, and handles payments.
• Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary; resolves issues following procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
