Job summary

Heritage Landing Golf & Country Club in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a driven Bartender to join its hospitality team. You will maintain a professional bar presence, prepare drinks, and ensure guests receive excellent service in a fast-paced setting.

Requires 1–2 years of bartending experience and knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails. Candidates must be of legal drinking age and able to work flexible shifts. Workplace benefits are offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending experience.
• Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation.
• Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain a supply of all bar products/supplies, including glassware and bar equipment.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
• Comply with laws applicable to beverage operations and age verification.
• Collect payment for drinks served.
• Greet and provide immediate attention to guests.
• Learn regular guests' names and recognize them.
• Monitor guest experience and take action to ensure excellent service.
• Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure supplies and inventory.
• Prepare garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
• Perform cleaning and closing duties as assigned.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
