Job Summary:

Provide friendly, courteous, and timely beverage and food service to guests, ensuring guest satisfaction. Prepare beverages for other servers and act as a cashier in the lounge.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders, mix and garnish drinks following recipes and portion controls.
2. Maintain proper setup of the bar, including requisitioning and stocking all necessary supplies.
3. Manage stock of fresh garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
4. Handle cash transactions accurately, verify charges, record transactions, and balance cash drawer.
5. Secure beverages, food, and equipment, and deposit cash drops securely.
6. Answer the bar phone promptly, take room service orders courteously, and input orders into the POS system, ensuring accountability.
7. Perform cleaning tasks as assigned, adhering to health standards.
8. Follow all company policies, safety, and security procedures, including emergency protocols.
9. Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per the team member handbook.
10. Perform other duties as assigned and assist fellow beverage personnel as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of liquor regulations, including serving to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic drinks.
• Mathematical skills for handling cash and portion control.
• Basic English skills for communication and documentation.
• Manual dexterity for handling bar tools and stock.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English effectively.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment and remember menu items.

Physical Demands:

• Transport up to 30 lbs. regularly.
• Constant standing and walking.
• Frequent twisting, bending, reaching, and smiling.
