Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown – Capitol View is seeking a Bartender who brings personality, professionalism, strong product knowledge, and a genuine desire to create an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving beverages.
• Basic computer literacy and POS experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean throughout the shift.
• Scheduling flexibility including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Welcome guests, take orders, and provide attentive service.
• Mix, garnish, and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages.
• Assist with bar menu presentation and beverage offerings.
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliant alcohol service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout the shift.
• Process guest checks and payments using the hotel’s POS system.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Support Food & Beverage operations and other hotel departments as needed.
