Fogo de Chão is hiring a Bartender to welcome guests, determine beverage preferences, and recommend drinks. You will be knowledgeable about menu items, prepare drinks, and upsell where appropriate while ensuring responsible service of alcohol.

You’ll balance cash, handle transactions, and maintain bar stock. The role requires ability to work in a fast-paced setting and comply with safety and liquor laws. Training and benefits apply to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking orders.
• Informing customers about new beverages and specials.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, their contents and preparation methods in order to accurately respond to customer questions, make menu recommendations and upsell where appropriate.

Responsabilités

• Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages, complying with liquor laws and food safety regulations.
• Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
• Prepare and serve menu items according to recipes and guidelines.
• Handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently, balance cash transactions.
• Educate self and assist coworkers in understanding basic bar vocabulary.
• Perform all reasonable tasks assigned by management.
