The National in Oklahoma City is hiring a Bartender to join our hospitality‑driven team. You will welcome guests, recommend beverages, and craft cocktails to specification while maintaining a clean, well‑stocked bar.

Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and pairings will help you create memorable guest experiences. Ideal candidates will have bartending or service experience, be at least 21, and hold or be willing to obtain required alcohol service licenses.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, serving, or customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must maintain any applicable state or local alcohol service license or certification required for the position.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, garnishes, and beverage selections.
• Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes and preparation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests promptly and creating a friendly, engaging bar atmosphere.
• Presenting beverage menus, answering questions, and making thoughtful recommendations.
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Crafting classic and contemporary cocktails with balance, technique and presentation.
• Maintaining a clean and polished bar and stocking bar supplies as needed.
• Taking beverage orders accurately and entering them into the POS system.
• Communicating allergies or dietary restrictions clearly on tickets.
• Providing wine service and food/beverage pairing recommendations when needed.
