Job summary

Big Whiskey's of Alabama is seeking a bartender to provide friendly, efficient service in a lively atmosphere. You will greet guests, upsell beverages, and craft drinks to standard recipes while maintaining bar cleanliness and accuracy in orders.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of bartending experience, be 21+, and possess solid knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Minimum of 2 years bartending experience.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 5 hours) and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and upsell beverages, make recommendations.
• Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
• Prepare and serve drinks per standard recipes.
• Record orders accurately in the POS system.
• Accept payments and process transactions.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock levels.
• Present menus and answer beverage questions.
• Assist in bar inventory and maintenance as needed.
