Job summary

Montage International seeks a friendly and skilled bartender to join our luxury hotel team. You will interact with guests, craft cocktails and beverages, and upsell while maintaining a polished bar area.

Experience with Micros or other POS systems and a passion for hospitality are valued. You'll work in a fast-paced resort environment, collaborating with the restaurant and service teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Prior bartending experience and Micros or other POS systems.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.
• Good communication and guest-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Interact one on one with guests, take orders, mix cocktails, upsell, ensure guest satisfaction.
• Exhibit knowledge of beverage menus and service delivery, including non-alcoholic options.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and restocking of supplies.
• Coordinate with management, bartenders and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Deliver WOW moments and assist with duties as needed by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Interact one on one with guests, take orders, make cocktails, upsell, ensure guest satisfaction and anticipate guest needs
• Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar, stocking with appropriate products and supplies
• Work as a team and effectively communicating with management, bartenders, and service staff
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs

• You have basic communication skills

Must Haves

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis
