Job Responsibilities
- Serve guests utilizing Spare Time Entertainment’s Steps of Service.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all menus, with the ability to make suggestions.
- Promote knowledge of the location’s features and upcoming events.
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks for patrons of the bar and dining room following standard recipes and adhering to Spare Time Entertainment’s guidelines.
- Assist in preparing unoccupied tables by wiping surfaces, removing debris, and ensuring seats are clean and orderly.
- Bust tables and return used dishes to the dishwashing area.
- Help with food preparation when necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Assist with waste control.
- Patrol assigned sections to respond to guest needs and address concerns promptly.
- Review guest identification and monitor alcohol consumption, strictly following company, state, and local laws.
- Operate the POS system accurately for transactions, billing, and payments.
- Provide all required shift paperwork in a consistent and organized manner.
- Complete shift opening and closing duties.
- Maintain clean equipment and work areas following preventative maintenance programs and health codes.
- Keep products and areas organized and restocked as needed.
- Maintain current certifications required by state and those offered by Spare Time Entertainment.
Qualifications and Experience
Preferred
- High school diploma preferred.
- 2+ years of waitstaff and/or bartending experience preferred.
- SERVSafe and/or TIPS certification preferred or required if mandated by the state.
