Position Purpose

Prepare and serve beverages for servers and guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner.

Essential Functions
  1. Prepare drinks, ensure materials are available, communicate with guests, and prevent service to minors or intoxicated persons. Act as cashier when needed.
  2. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, dispose of waste, clean glassware, and wipe down surfaces.
  3. Manage opening and closing inventory of spirits.
Other

Regular attendance is essential. Varying schedules may be required. Compliance with hotel rules is mandatory. Violations may lead to disciplinary actions.

  • Assist colleagues as needed.
  • Participate in deep cleaning activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in English, communication skills, basic math, and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of drink preparation, health standards, and alcohol service laws.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
Physical Demands
  • Work indoors and in extreme temperatures, stand for long periods, lift up to 75 lbs, and perform physical tasks as described.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum age to serve alcohol, food handler’s card, TIPS certification.
Grooming and Attendance
