Job Description

The Bartender position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers. The role includes serving beverages to guests and cocktail servers at Belterra Casino Resort, ensuring excellent customer relations.

• Provide exceptional customer service, positively interacting with guests and staff, and handle difficult situations with resilience.
• Maintain organization of company funds and equipment.
• Pour drinks according to recipes and keep the work environment clean and safe.
• Comply with “Project 21 – Minors in Casino” regulations.
• Demonstrate product offerings and ordering procedures.
• Monitor supply levels at the bar.
• Report problems or issues to the supervisor.
• Manage and secure the assigned bank, responsible for overages and shortages.
• Open and close the bar following established procedures.
• Supervise and direct bar attendants.

Qualifications

• Ability to mix a wide variety of drinks.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of bar equipment operation.
• Ability to lead cocktail servers.
• Must obtain and maintain necessary licenses/certifications per regulations.
• Indiana ABC Liquor License required.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

The role typically requires completing an accredited bartending course or having two years of high-volume cocktail service experience, preferably in a hotel or casino setting.
