Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with safety procedures and health standards.
  • Ensure regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and presence during scheduled hours.
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks to guests respectfully and efficiently.
  • Provide quality customer service by answering questions and encouraging purchases.
  • Keep the bar properly stocked, clean, and organized; monitor liquor controls closely.
  • Monitor cash flow, handle transactions securely, and prevent loss and theft.
  • Observe guests for signs of intoxication; discontinue alcohol service if needed and inform security and supervisors.
  • Coordinate bartending activities with cocktail server rounds and breaks.
  • Promote gaming, dining, and other resort events as required.
  • Develop positive relations with guests and staff; handle change requests.
  • Comply with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal policies.
  • Report concerns about beverage quality, equipment, or service to supervisors.
  • Follow security policies and maintain awareness of bar operations at all times.
  • Verify customers are 21+ years old and perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

Demonstrated bartending experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environments. Ability to work under deadlines and pressure. Strong problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing skills.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of recent bartending experience in a relevant setting.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Colorado Limited Gaming Support License required. Must be at least 21 years old. Completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training.

Other Skills/Abilities:

Successful completion of alcohol awareness training.

Physical Demands:

Perform physical activities such as walking, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, pushing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Lift trays and supplies up to 50 pounds. Work flexible hours, including additional hours as needed.
