Waldorf Astoria Chicago is seeking a Bartender to join the Bernard's Restaurant team in Chicago's Gold Coast!

Recognized as one of the Best Hotels in the World and in Chicago, with the Top Hotel Spa in the U.S., the AAA-Five-Diamond, Forbes 4-Star Waldorf Astoria Chicago is located in the prestigious Gold Coast neighborhood, near Oak Street retailers, beaches, Rush Street nightlife, and The Magnificent Mile. The hotel features 215 rooms, over 5,000 sq ft of meeting space, and 4 F&B outlets including a restaurant, 2 bars, and in-room dining.

Shift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Pay Rate: $27.10/hour

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and respond to inquiries promptly and courteously
• Mix and garnish beverages per recipes and portion standards
• Serve beverages and food to guests
• Verify guest IDs and serve alcohol in compliance with laws and regulations
• Process payments accurately via POS system, handle cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers
• Stock and maintain bar supplies including beverages, glassware, and accompaniments
• Ensure quality and safety of beverage perishables
• Respond professionally to intoxicated guests, as needed
