Provide friendly, efficient customer service at all times and maintain a clean, professional appearance. Ensure guest satisfaction at the service bar and with bar guests in a prompt, timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Greet all guests, anticipate needs, and respond to inquiries or requests.
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar area.
  • Provide silverware and condiments before food is served at the bar.
  • Clean and reset the bar area after guests depart or drinks are prepared.
  • Set up and break down the bar properly.
  • Follow proper sink procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with management, kitchen, and serving staff.
  • Promote a positive workplace environment, ensuring responsible alcohol service by following legal requirements, including carding and monitoring consumption.
  • Accurately take and record food and beverage orders in the Micros system, maintain guest tabs, and process payments promptly.
  • Monitor stock levels (pars).
  • Have experience in upselling and knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume casual or sports bar environment.
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and mixology.
  • Experience handling cash transactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in using MICROS or similar POS systems.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Ability to work well with co-workers across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize guest requests.
  • Outstanding customer service, problem-solving, and service recovery skills.
  • Must be TABC certified or able to obtain certification.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Work may be indoors or outdoors.
