Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Bartender for B-Lux Burgers, Shakes, and Fries restaurant. You will deliver friendly, attentive service, craft beverages, and engage guests to ensure a memorable experience.

This on-site role supports a fast-paced, high-volume setting with an emphasis on hospitality. Requirements include a bartender license and alcohol awareness certification, plus prior bartending experience in a full-service environment.

Qualifications

• State or Local law may require alcohol safety certification.
• Bartender license required to work in this position.
• Bartending experience in fine dining/high-volume setting preferred.
• Background in service industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, responsive, and consistent service to guests.
• Greet guests, describe specials, and upsell items and drinks.
• Take orders, enter into POS, relay to kitchen and bar.
• Maintain clean, organized bar area and manage glassware and garnishes.
• Monitor alcohol service for responsible consumption.

Bartender- B-Lux

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Bartender for B-Lux Burgers, Shakes, and Fries r estaurant .In this role, you wil lprovide friendly, responsive and consistent service to create a beyond expectation food and beverage experience for all guests.

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise toLead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll create a welcoming atmosphere, crafting quality beverages, and engaging guests with friendly, attentive service.

Pay Rate - $7 - $8/Hr. + Tips

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests immediately, inform them of specials, provide menu and beverage tours, and recommend items/drinks you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and advise on menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Maintain bar area; including keeping the bar top/counters and well area neat and organized, ashtrays emptied and wiped out, dirty cocktail glasses removed, washed and sterilized; any napkins, coasters, straws or discarded garnishes cleaned up.
• Be aware of guests’ rate of consumption of alcohol and its effect and take immediate corrective action to help the guest as well as to protect the interest of Kalahari Resorts and its associates.

What We’re Looking For

• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class as well as state-certified proper food handling certification.
• You must have a bartender’s license to work in this position.
• Must have bartending experience in a fine dining full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Prior restaurant/bartender/lounge experience in a full-service restaurant or beverage venue is a must and/or background in the service industry is a plus.
