Salary Range: $12.00 - $25.00 hourly

Job Description

• Complete all required training.
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures and property‑specific brand standards.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests.
• Provide personalized, friendly service to each and every guest.
• Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.
• Present and serve beverages to guests.
• Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations.
• Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests, including use of the point‑of‑sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change, and processing gift certificates, cards, and vouchers.
• Stock and maintain the bar inventory.
• Ensure product quality of all beverage‑related perishables.

Necessary Skills

• Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, associate issues, etc.
• Be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates, and hotel assets.
• Have knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures.
• Be able to report to all scheduled shifts.
• Communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person.
• Work a flexible schedule; availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Be organized, honest, and work well with others.
• Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and appearance.
• Have the highest degree of integrity and be humble, living by the Golden Rule.
• Work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

• Be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, stretch, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
