Job description

Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village, 19800 SW Touchmark Way, an award-winning senior living resort community spanning 25 acres along the Deschutes River on Bend's westside, is looking for a professional, high-energyPart-time Weekend Bartender and Pub Server with excellent communication skills to serve cocktails and food to residents.

  • Starting wage $19.50 per hour, depending on experience (no gratuities as this is a position in a private senior resort)
  • Shifts are Saturday and Sunday 10:00am-8:00pm
  • Other shifts may be available to pick up for extra hours
  • Paid Time Off

The Bistro Attendant/Bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food.

To succeed as a Bartender and Pub Server at Touchmark, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable and have a desire to serve and assist others with genuine hospitality.

  • Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
  • Serving tables in the pub through lunch and dinner service
  • Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
  • Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
  • Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
  • OLCC and Food Handler Permit
  • Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
  • Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
  • Must be 21+
