Job Summary

The role of a bartender is to provide an above and beyond service experience, ensuring all guests are served beverages and/or food in a timely, friendly, and high-quality manner, following safety procedures for serving alcohol. The bartender also enriches the guest experience and shows genuine interest in their needs.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Set up bar at the beginning of shift
  2. Ensure cleanliness and proper stock of bar supplies
  3. Pick up and count bank
  4. Cut fruit and prepare purees for the bar
  5. Stock juices and other produce
  6. Stock cups, napkins, and silverware
  7. Maintain stock of beer and wine
  8. Keep ice wells filled
  9. Greet all guests upon arrival
  10. Keep bar clean and sanitized
  11. Upsell food and beverages
  12. Anticipate guest needs
  13. Close and break down bar, clean workspaces and equipment
  14. Properly store produce for next-day use
  15. Clean bottles, wells, and surfaces
  16. Clean beer taps
  17. Maintain frozen machines
  18. Take out trash as needed
  19. Brush and squeegee floors
  20. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • Sufficient education and literacy to read labels and communicate with guests
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred
  • One year bartending experience in a high-volume facility preferred
  • In-person customer service experience required
  • CPR Certified
  • Food Handling Certification
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification
  • Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol

  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Discreet and respectful of guest privacy
  • Consistent work ethic and high standards
  • Friendly and pleasant interaction with guests
  • Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service
