Responsibilities include preparing drinks, engaging guests, handling payments, and assisting with events while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

Bartender Job Description

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. You will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, maintain a clean and organized bar area, and ensure compliance with all applicable alcohol service regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage positively with guests.
• Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar, service areas, and equipment.
• Accurately process guest orders and handle cash, credit card, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking, replenishing supplies, and notifying management of shortages.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and beverage control procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Set up and break down the bar area before and after service.
• Assist with special events and resort activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food Handler and Responsible Vendor certifications (or ability to obtain) may be required.
