Position Details
  • Position: Bartender 03
  • Salary: $22.20/hour
  • Location: Petaluma, CA
Responsibilities
  1. Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
  2. Prepare a variety of alcoholic drinks, select proper premix and garnish.
  3. Serve patrons directly or deliver to wait staff.
  4. Handle payments, operate cash register, and manage cash accountability documentation.
  5. Set up and maintain a clean, sanitary, and presentable bar area.
  6. Ensure adequate stock levels and organize storeroom and work area.
  7. Wash glassware and utensils following sanitation procedures.
  8. Assist higher-level bartenders and stock service bars.
  9. Complete required alcohol service training and annual refresher courses.
  10. Identify unruly or intoxicated persons and resolve issues or seek assistance.
  11. Follow safety procedures, use safety equipment, and report hazards or incidents.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Experience in mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale or completion of bartender training.
  • Ability to recognize and handle intoxicated or unruly patrons.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Meet age requirements for serving alcohol.

Preferred:

  • One year of bartending experience.
