Job summary

Interlachen Country Club, Inc. in Winter Park, FL, seeks an experienced bartender to join the Clubhouse's Food and Beverage team. You will prepare and serve a variety of drinks and perform tableside service for members and guests.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean bar, stocking inventory, and providing service during lunch/dinner and events. Flexible days, nights, weekends, and holidays required; benefits include health/dental/vision/life, 401(k), PTO, bonuses, and growth

SUMMARY:

Bartenders play a vital role on the Clubhouse’s Food and Beverage Team during both lunch/dinner service and special events. Responsible for creating and mixing a variety of drinks, bartenders ensure orders are served to members and guests in a timely fashion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares drinks for server to serve and/or serves directly to members and their guests. Performs tableside wine serve according to ICC standards.
• Receives cocktail and/or food orders at the bar and at the member’s table, when needed. Ensures the appropriate member’s account is charged for each order.
• Maintains a clean and orderly bar.
• Ensures the bar is adequately stocked, rotates inventory, and reports any shortages to the supervisor.

COMPENSATION (non-tipping):

Competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Requirements

AVAILABILITY:

Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to climb step stools of a height of 3 feet.
• Requires occasional bending, reaching, stretching.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• May be required to carry and balance loaded tray.
• Must be capable of working under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Has a general understanding and knowledge of beer and spirits.
