Job summary

Air Education and Training Command is seeking a bartender for the Maxwell Event Center. This is a non-appropriated fund intermittent/ flexible position without benefits. The incumbent can be scheduled 0-40 hours based on activity need.

Responsibilities include operating limited service bars, preparing drinks, serving beverages, handling cash, and keeping the work area clean. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
• This position does not allow for education substitution.

• Maintains work area neat and clean.
• Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils.
• Stocks service bars and assists higher-level bartender as required.
• May be required to prepare documentation for cash funds accountability.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements & Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
