Qualifications

We are seeking Bartenders. Bartenders at Five Iron Golf are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Bartenders greet customers with a smile, learn about their preferences, are helpful in answering any questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. Bartenders report directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and assist with beverage recipe development to enhance our menu offerings.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments swiftly, and balance registers at the end of each shift.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy hours and special events like catering or private parties.

Experience

• Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Prior experience in fine dining settings or high-end hospitality venues is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling of food and beverages is essential.
