Job summary

Meier’s Creek Brewing Company is seeking a friendly, energetic bartender to join our Inner Harbor location. You’ll craft beverages, deliver friendly service, and help create memorable guest experiences rooted in community and teamwork.

As part of our bar team, you’ll recommend craft beers and cocktails, keep a clean, well-stocked space, handle POS transactions, and ensure responsible service while staying flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred (1+ year ideal).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Interest in craft beer, cocktails and beverage trends.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Essential Minimum Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Meier’s Creek standards
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages and engaging with customers
• Recommend craft beers, cocktails and menu items based on guest preferences
• Accurately mix cocktails and maintain consistency and presentation standards
• Promote and present the bar menu, including seasonal offerings and brewery products
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and promote responsible services
• Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked bar area
• Restock and replenish inventory and bar supplies as needed
• Process transactions accurately using POS system and handle cash/card payments
• Work collaboratively with team members to support efficient service and a positive team environment
• Foster a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere that reflects the Meier’s Creek brand
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and beverage regulations
