Job summary

Village On The Isle in Venice, FL, seeks a Bartender to prepare and serve beverages and food with warmth. You will interact with residents, family and staff, explain menu items, and ensure a welcoming, safe dining atmosphere in Brezza bar and dining areas.

The role requires cordial customer service, reliability, and the ability to work as part of the culinary/dining team, including training new staff and supporting opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bartending or responsible alcohol-service certification preferred or required to obtain within 6 months.
• Basic point-of-sale and cash-handling knowledge preferred.
• At least two years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARYReporting to the Assistant Culinary & Dining Director, the Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and food in a friendly, courteous manner, and performing a variety of duties in and around the Brezza bar, dining area and kitchen in order to enhance the customers' experience, in accordance with the company’s mission and values. The bartender’s role includes providing warm, attentive beverage service in in all areas of the Brezza dining venue while ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere for residents, family members, and guests. The bartender must provide excellent service ensuring level of service meets the Village On The Isle’s standards. The bartender respectfully interacts with all residents, family members, visitors, colleagues and staff. The bartender will assist leadership in motivating employees, instilling accountability, and achieving results to drive success in the position.
