Job summary

ASM Global-SMG is seeking certified bartenders to work part time during events in Bossier City, LA. This flexible role is ideal for those with evenings and weekend availability, covering concerts, Broadway-type shows, and sporting events.

Responsibilities include serving beverages, handling cash, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and complying with alcohol management rules. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, pass background checks, and hold Louisiana ABO/LACT certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years verifiable bartender experience.
• Relevant certifications required to work as a bartender in the location.

Job Overview

Brookshire’s Grocery Arena/ASM GLOBAL is looking for Certified Bartenders to work part time during events in Bossier City, LA. This is a flexible position designed for anyone that has occasional evening and weekends available to work. Events range from concerts, Broadway type shows, & sporting events.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to attendees at events.
• Interact with customers and clients in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Maintain safe, secure, and sanitary working conditions.
• Operate a register and follow accurate cash handling/control procedures.
• Adhere to inventory control procedures and coordinate with Concessions Supervisors, Cashiers, and Runners for adequate inventory levels.
• Prepare all beverage items for sale at the station.
• Follow all rules and regulations applicable to SAVOR/SMG and the SAVOR Safe Alcohol Management Program.
• Request identification for every guest purchasing alcohol.
• Leave work area clean and orderly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a credit, background, and reference check.
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience as a bartender.
• Relevant certifications necessary to work as a bartender in Bossier City.
• Experience working in a position requiring a high level of customer service.

License or Certifications Required

• Bossier Parish ABO (Alcoholic Beverage Operator)
• LACT (Louisiana Alcohol Compliance Trainers)

Working Conditions

Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. The position requires working in an office, warehouse, and concession stand setting with continuous walking, stooping, lifting up to 30 lbs., and standing for extended periods of time.
