Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Bartender to understand and follow alcohol serving laws while preparing alcohol and non-alcohol beverages. The role involves interacting with members, serving food as needed, and maintaining a clean, sanitized environment.

Responsibilities include following recipes, serving promptly, checking IDs, handling payments, and answering questions. The position requires some lifting and prolonged movement around the cafe and bar area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years bartending experience preferred.
• Certified to serve alcohol is required.
• CPR/AED certification required within first 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs on a routine basis.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move around the cafe for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes to prepare cocktails and drinks, including garnishes.
• Serve members and customers promptly, check IDs, accept payments, and answer questions.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar surfaces, furniture and equipment; return used dishware to bar/kitchen.
• Restock liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients; replace beer barrels.
• Reconcile the cash register at end of shift.

Position Summary

The Bartender understands and follows alcohol serving laws. They prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages while interacting with customers, taking and serving food as necessary. The Bartender maintains a clean and sanitized environment

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• - Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks, including adding garnish
• - Serves members and customers in a timely fashion, including checking identification, accepting payment, and answering any questions that may arise
• - Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface, furniture, and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar/kitchen
• - Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
• - Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift

Position Requirements

• - High School Diploma or GED
• - 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
• - Certified to serve alcohol
• - CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• - Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• - Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

Preferred Requirements

• - Experience with inventory and ordering
