Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Bartender to prepare cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages while interacting with members, serving food as needed, and maintaining a clean, sanitized bar area. The role requires following alcohol-serving laws and ensuring customer safety.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, checking IDs, processing payments, restocking inventory, and reconciling the cash register at shift end. Requires HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years bartending experience, plus CPR/AED certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years bartending experience required.
• Certified to serve alcohol.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. repeatedly.

• Serves members and customers promptly; checks IDs, processes payments, answers questions.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar surfaces, furniture, and equipment; returns used dishes to bar/kitchen.
• Restocks liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcohol ingredients; replaces beer barrels.
• Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift.

Position Summary

The Bartender understands and follows alcohol serving laws. They prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages while interacting with customers, taking and serving food as necessary. The Bartender maintains a clean and sanitized environment

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks, including adding garnish
• Serves members and customers in a timely fashion, including checking identification, accepting payment, and answering any questions that may arise
• Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface, furniture, and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar/kitchen
• Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
• Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
• Certified to serve alcohol
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with inventory and ordering
