Job summary

Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C. is seeking a Bartender to join our team. The Bartender is a key part of the member experience in our grill room, bringing craft, conversation, and consistency to every shift.

You will craft cocktails, engage with members, maintain a stocked bar, and coordinate with staff to ensure seamless service while upholding responsible beverage service and professional guest relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bar tending experience in an upscale dining, hotel, or private club environment.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and classic and contemporary cocktail preparation.
• TIPS or equivalent responsible beverage service certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests in the grill bar and dining room.
• Engage with members in a warm, professional manner and learn their preferences over time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.
• Take food and beverage orders and coordinate with grill staff and servers for seamless service.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible beverage service.
• Open and close the bar according to club standards, including cash handling and inventory logging.
