Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity with luxury hotel standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally at the pool area and upsell based on menu.
• Prepare and mix drinks, serve to the bar and fulfill server orders.
• Monitor guest needs and proactively offer refills and promotions.
• Process guest orders via the restaurant’s POS system with accurate billing and no errors.
• Collaborate with pool servers, bartenders, kitchen staff and other departments to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure safety protocols and responsible alcohol service, including ID checks.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness and proper storage of supplies.
• Inspire luxury hospitality and personalized guest experiences.

Missions

The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional and personalized service to our guests at the pool area, ensuring a seamless and luxury experience.

Profile

• Greet guests warmly and professionally as they enter the pool area, provide suggestions based on menu and ensure a personal and memorable experience.
• Prepares and mixes drinks, serves to the bar and fulfills orders from servers.
• Monitor guest needs and proactively offer refills, additional services, or special promotions ensuring their satisfaction.
• Process guest orders through the restaurant’s POS system, ensuring that billing is accurate, following the restaurant’s credit and cash handling policies, and that any special requests or preferences are noted.
• Collaborate closely with the other pool servers, bartenders, kitchen hoteliers, and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient service, fulfilling guests orders in a timely and accurate manner contributing to a personalized guest journey.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, including poolside safety regulations and ensuring compliance with all legal regulations regarding alcohol service, including verifying guest IDs and adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, such as stocking supplies, picking up empty glasses and ensuring proper storage of items.
• Inspire an elevated level of creativity, personal commitment to service excellence and an emotional sense of gracious hospitality to enhance the restaurant’s luxury ambience.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years of work experience of a similar capacity with an understanding of luxury hotel standards of service.
• Full-Time position.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to operate and maintain all departmental equipment, fully competent with POS systems.
• Outstanding abilities to build and maintain relationships and a regular client base, demonstrated ability to make a naturally positive, lasting impression, brilliant at recognizing and welcoming regular guests.
• In-depth knowledge of all standard mixed drinks, shots, wine, beer, different levels of spirits, and any other beverage available at the bar.
• Must be Fluent in English.
• Must be able to reach, bend, balance and transport various objects weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
• Frequent heat exposure, standing, talking, walking.
