Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking Bartenders with a passion for providing excellent hospitality. This position requires someone who maintains positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner.

What You’ll Do:

1. Set up the bar and ensure it is fully equipped with the necessary tools and products for mixing beverages and serving guests.
2. Ensure the bar is stocked with the correct alcohol and quantities ordered.
3. Fully comply with TABC procedures for serving alcoholic beverages.
4. Interact with customers and take drink orders.
5. Mix drinks, cocktails, and other beverages as ordered, following venue recipes.
6. Assess customer needs and preferences, and make recommendations.
7. Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and politely refuse further service, informing management as needed.
8. Maintain liquor inventory by counting and reporting remaining alcohol at the end of the shift.
9. Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
10. Break down the bar and clean the workstation, including taking out trash, wiping counters, and mopping the floor.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred.
2. Education: Relevant work history, TABC, and Food Handlers license required in Texas.
3. Physical: Ability to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk for 8-12 hours.
4. Other: Submit to a background check, possess a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.

Compensation & Schedule:

1. Part-Time: Weekends and evenings when events take place. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and late nights.
2. Hourly: $14-$16 per hour, plus tips.
3. Benefits: 401k with 4% match.
