Our jobs aren’t just about mixing drinks. Instead, we want to build an experience that is memorable and unique. Our bartenders have the basics down, but are constantly on the lookout for new trends, micro-local offerings, and guests’ evolving needs. They are not just beverage enthusiasts but also hosts of the space. Their role extends beyond the bar to take ownership of guest service broadly. They use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar looks and functions flawlessly, build relationships across the hotel and community, and anticipate guests’ needs. They should be passionate about guest service and attentive to detail—from handling money accurately, providing information to guests, to maintaining drink quality.
Critical to success are creating a safe workplace, following policies, protecting assets, maintaining confidentiality, and presenting a professional appearance. Bartenders will be on their feet, moving around, and performing physical tasks such as lifting and reaching, including moving objects up to 25 pounds. Performing these duties well is essential to deliver excellent guest experiences and support our business.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
License or Certification: None required.
