Job summary

Trump National Golf Club Washington DC in Sterling, Virginia, is seeking a Bartender to contribute craft, conversation, and consistency to our member experience in the grill room. You will craft cocktails, wine, and beer, engage guests warmly, and maintain a stocked bar while coordinating with kitchen and service staff.

Qualifications include 2+ years of upscale bar experience, knowledge of spirits/wine, TIPS certification, and a 21+ age requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bar tending experience in an upscale dining, hotel, or private club environment.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and classic and contemporary cocktail preparation.
• TIPS or equivalent responsible beverage service certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Exceptional guest relations skills — professional, personable, and member-focused.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests in the grill bar and dining room.
• Engage with members in a warm, professional manner and learn their preferences over time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.
• Take food and beverage orders and coordinate with grill staff and servers for seamless service.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible beverage service.
• Open and close the bar according to club standards, including cash handling and inventory logging.
