Job description

JOB PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to create a unique and personal experience for our Buffalo Wild Wings Guests by effectively presenting food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Make personal connections with Guests to create loyalty through engaging conversations.
2. Participate in Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs. Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures for BARS, including checking IDs for guests who look under 40 years old to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
3. Read and organize tickets to serve Guests quickly and accurately, managing large crowds efficiently.
4. Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the standards set in the SOPs.
5. Perform service, cleanliness, and operational duties including bussing, resetting the bar, restocking caddies, and cleaning menus and menu placement.
6. Stock the bar, refill ice bins, and replace kegs and bottles as needed.
7. Monitor and manage inventory and control costs, including tracking waste and ensuring proper levels of glassware and garnishes.
8. Take food and beverage orders, prepare beverages, and serve Guests promptly.
9. Collect and process Guest payments following SOPs.
10. Limit issues related to excessive drinking by taking appropriate precautions.
11. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area and equipment.
12. Perform FOH support duties for opening and closing, maintaining cleanliness as per company policy. Clock in/out appropriately when performing these duties.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management, with pay rates determined by the specific task.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during shifts. Notify your manager if a task exceeds your physical capabilities.
