Job summary

Uncle Julio's in Spring, TX is seeking an experienced Bartender to craft cocktails and deliver memorable guest experiences in our fast-paced upscale Tex-Mex setting.

Bring at least 1 year of bartending experience, knowledge of cocktails and spirits, POS proficiency, and a passion for hospitality. Must be 21+, able to work evenings and weekends, with excellent communication and teamwork to help our brand shine.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be 21+ and meet state requirements.
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling.
• Solid knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and mixology.
• Current alcohol and food handling certifications as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages.
• Maintain high-quality standards and guest engagement in a fast-paced bar.
• Design signature drinks and deliver memorable guest experiences.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As a Bartender, you’ll be at the forefront of our bar, showcasing your skills while creating memorable experiences for every guest. You’ll craft a variety of cocktails, from timeless classics to innovative creations, using high-quality ingredients and techniques. With strong multitasking abilities, extensive cocktail knowledge, and a warm, engaging personality, you’ll provide exceptional service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Your creativity and passion for mixology will shine as you design signature drinks that elevate the guest experience. This is a dynamic opportunity to bring energy, flair, and hospitality to our upscale Tex-Mex restaurant.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year’s Bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar setting, required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED, required. Associate’s or a bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and mixology techniques.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are required.
• Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and engaging personality.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
