Job summary

Workstream is seeking a Bartender for our upscale Tex-Mex restaurant in Skokie, IL. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in bartending, strong cocktail knowledge, and exceptional customer service skills. You'll be responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails and ensuring a memorable guest experience. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within the company. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s Bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar setting.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proficient in POS systems.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails and mixology techniques.
• Current alcohol and food certifications meeting state requirements.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish with the crew.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly personality.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand physical demands of a restaurant.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and mixology techniques.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are required.
• Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and engaging personality.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
