Sun Outdoors is seeking a Bartender to set up the bar, prepare and mix drinks, and deliver high-quality service. You will handle payments, greet guests, and ensure a clean, organized bar area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Professional appearance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
• Operate cash register and handle payments accurately.
• Monitor alcohol intake and refuse sale to intoxicated patrons; arrange transportation if needed.
• Comply with federal, state, and local alcohol service laws.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks promptly and per standards.
• Greet customers and take beverage orders from servers.
• Perform shift opening and closing duties as directed.
• Present menus, take orders, and serve food to bar guests.
• Keep bar area clean and sanitized; maintain counters and equipment.
• Prepare garnishes and stock beverages; replenish supplies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Bartender, you'll be responsible for setting-up the bar area, preparing and mixing beverages, serving customers, displaying a high level of customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area.

Job Duties

• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol. (Essential)
• Operate cash register and receive payment from customer in cash or credit card, and accurately count and provide change to customers when applicable. (Essential)
• Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting the sale to those who are intoxicated. Order taxis or other means of transportation for intoxicated patrons. (Essential)
• Operate in compliance with federal, state and local law requirements for serving alcohol. (Essential)
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as ordered, in a timely manner and in compliance with company standards. (Essential)
• Greet customers and take beverage orders for guests from restaurant servers.
• Perform shift opening and closing duties as directed.
• Present menus, take orders and serve food to guests seated at the bar.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain bar area including counters and equipment.
• Prepare garnishes, stock, and replenish beverages and garnishment supply as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
