Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Bartender for the Aloft Sarasota, a lifestyle hotel in downtown Sarasota, FL. You will engage guests, craft beverages with precision, and contribute to a memorable bar experience.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of bartender experience, solid mixology knowledge, and a welcoming, high-energy attitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Current bartender certification or license.
• 2–4 years of bartender experience.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and guide them on their beverage journey.
• Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of drinks.
• Prepare and garnish drinks following standard recipes.
• Maintain bar stock, setup, and cleanliness throughout shift.

The Bartender is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure. As a Bartender, it is your responsibility to seek to understand the guest’s needs while preparing perfect beverages in a timely manner. This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven person to grow and learn at a world-class property!Your role:Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar areaMaintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar dailyGuide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menuBe accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requestsBe the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance the conversationWork collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staffAssist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happyFinalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentationRequisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spiritsResponsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control.Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guestLocks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.What are we looking for?Someone with an engaging and welcoming personalityCurrent bartenders’ certification or appropriate licenseKnowledgeable in the latest trends around mixologySomeone who is descriptive and can saleSomeone with 2-4 years of bartender experienceSomeone with knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spiritsSomeone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentSomeone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guestsSomeone with excellent communication skillsCompensation:$11.98-$11.98Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
