Job description

JOB PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to create a unique and personal experience for our Buffalo Wild Wings Guests by effectively presenting food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Make personal connections with Guests to create loyalty through engaging conversations.
2. Participate in Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs. Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures for the BARS program, including "Must ID anyone who looks under 40 years of age" and check Guests' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
3. Read and organize tickets to serve Guests quickly and accurately, managing large crowds.
4. Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the standards and specifications set forth in the Standard Operating Procedures.
5. Perform service, cleanliness, and operational duties, including bussing, resetting the bar, restocking caddies, cleaning menus, and menu placement on the bar.
6. Stock the bar and refill the ice bin as needed.
7. Remove debris and spills from the floor in the assigned section.
8. Replace kegs and restock bottle beer and alcohol as necessary.
9. Monitor and manage bar inventory and implement cost control measures, including tracking waste per company drink specifications and SOPs.
10. Monitor inventory levels of stemware, glassware, garnishes, etc., and replenish as needed, ensuring proper levels and sterilization.
11. Take food and beverage orders from Guests and prepare beverages for those guests as well as the server’s Guests.
12. Process Guest payments accurately according to the Company’s SOPs.
13. Limit problems and liability related to excessive drinking by taking appropriate precautions.
14. Maintain a clean and sanitary bar area, equipment, and blenders.
15. Perform FOH support opening and/or closing duties to maintain operational cleanliness, as per the FOH Support Responsibilities Policy. Follow proper clock-in/out procedures when switching between bartender and FOH support roles.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by management, with pay rate determined by the specific duty.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. Notify your manager if a task exceeds your physical capabilities.
