Job summary

Vesta Hospitality is opening The Hollow, a lively cocktail bar in the Hyatt House & JDV by Hyatt The Mindaro in Portland, OR. We’re seeking a friendly, energetic Bartender who excels in hospitality and guest service to craft cocktails and engage guests.

Join a brand-new hotel and restaurant team focused on memorable guest experiences, teamwork, and a positive atmosphere. Prior bartending or restaurant experience is preferred, and certification for alcohol service may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or restaurant experience preferred.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required alcohol service certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality craft cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to Guests.
• Take orders and accurately process transactions through the POS system.
• Prepare and serve food and light menu items.
• Engage with Guests and create a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and service area.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and stocking duties.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and hotel standards.
• Work collaboratively with the restaurant and hotel teams to deliver an exceptional Guest experience.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each shift.

We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and guest-focused Bartender to join our team at The Hollow, the new cocktail bar located in the lobby of Hyatt House & JDV by Hyatt The Mindaro.

The Hollow is a welcoming gathering place where Guests can enjoy craft cocktails, food, conversation, and a relaxed atmosphere. As a Bartender, you'll play an important role in creating a memorable experience from the moment our Guests arrive.

We're looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, takes pride in their work, and can confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced hospitality environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve quality craft cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages
