Job summary

The Henry in Plano is hiring immediately for a bartender with 2+ years of high-volume experience. You will deliver warm hospitality, make recommendations, and handle beer, wine and cocktails with precision.

Join a team within Fox Restaurant Concepts; this role offers training, weekend availability, and growth opportunities within our family of brands. Offsite location but part of The Henry concept this fall.

Qualifications

• 2+ years high-volume bartending experience.
• Excellent communication and ability to stand for long periods; lift up to 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits; basic cocktail recipes.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest.
• Know the menu and be able to make genuine recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and basic cocktails.
• Keep the bar clean and organized; stay calm in high-volume service.
• Operate POS systems and OpenTable; follow laws and policies.
• Be flexible to fill in as needed for smooth operations.

What you’ll do:

• Must have 2+years high-volume recent bartending experience
• You have excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and are able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest
• Know the menu and be able to make genuine recommendations
• Have a strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits. Know basic cocktail recipes
• Keep it clean. You’re fanatical about clutter.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Respond to on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
• Understand POS systems and OpenTable (or other digital/online reservation systems)
• Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, company policies and procedures
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
