Job Title: Brunch Bartender for Saturdays and Sundays

Job Overview:

The Bartender is a key member of the hospitality team responsible for crafting and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This position requires a mix of customer interaction, drink preparation skills, and an understanding of bar operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service:
    • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
    • Take and process drink orders, providing recommendations when requested.
    • Engage with customers to create a positive and enjoyable experience.
  • Beverage Preparation:
    • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
    • Mix and garnish drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
    • Handle and pour beverages responsibly, adhering to legal drinking age regulations.
  • Menu Knowledge:
    • Have a thorough understanding of the drink menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
    • Stay informed about current beverage trends and recommend new and popular items.
  • Cash Handling:
    • Process customer payments, handle cash, and provide accurate change.
    • Keep an organized cash drawer and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
  • Bar Maintenance:
    • Keep the bar area clean, sanitized, and well-stocked.
    • Wash glassware and utensils regularly.
    • Monitor and replenish bar supplies, such as ice, napkins, and straws.
  • Customer Relations:
    • Build rapport with customers and encourage repeat business.
    • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
    • Know regular customers by name and preferences.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
    • Ensure responsible serving of alcohol and comply with legal drinking age regulations.
    • Maintain awareness of patrons' alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary.
  • Collaboration with Staff:
    • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient and timely service.
    • Communicate effectively with other team members to maintain a cohesive and positive work environment.

Qualifications:
