Job summary

Applebee’s is seeking a friendly Bartender to mix and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests in a fast-paced environment. You may also assist with food service, ensuring each interaction reflects Applebee’s Service Promise.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean bar, delivering orders accurately and promptly, and proactively addressing guest concerns to ensure a positive guest experience. This role emphasizes teamwork and reliability.

Job Description

As a Bartender at Applebee’s, you will be responsible for mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Applebee’s specifications. In addition to preparing drinks, you may also serve food and beverages directly to guests, ensuring each interaction reflects the Applebee’s Service Promise. This includes making friendly, personal connections with every guest, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, setting the pace with attentive service, delivering orders accurately and promptly, and proactively addressing and resolving any issues to ensure the guest experience is right every time.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders occasionally
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
