Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard and signature recipes, ensuring consistency and quality on every pour
  • Greet and engage guests at the bar, take orders accurately, and make menu recommendations (cocktails, beer, wine, and food pairings)
  • Check guest IDs and monitor alcohol consumption responsibly; refuse service when appropriate in line with state law and company policy
  • Operate the POS system to enter orders, process payments, and manage tabs accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station, including restocking garnishes, glassware, and liquor
  • Follow all recipes, portioning, and pouring standards to control cost and maintain consistency
  • Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation standards; maintain a clean bar area throughout the shift
  • Communicate and coordinate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally, escalating to a manager when needed
  • Assist with opening/closing bar duties, including inventory counts and cash-out procedures
  • Support promotions and specials (e.g., happy hour, seasonal cocktails) as directed by management

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods (up to 8+ hours)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (kegs, cases of liquor/mixers, ice)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion
  • Comfortable working around alcohol, noise, and a high-energy social atmosphere
