Job summary

The North Conway Grand Hotel, part of Olympia Hospitality, is seeking a bartender to join a people-first team delivering classic and contemporary drinks with style.

As a bartender, you will verify age, prepare beverages, handle payments, manage stock, and keep the bar area clean while providing friendly, efficient service in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per state law.
• TIPS certification preferred; allergy awareness training helpful.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve drinks directly to customers.
• Verify age requirements for alcohol service.
• Know drink recipes and pairings; handle payments and tips.

Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory, and cleaning bar supplies.

Skills Required

• Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure.

Experience / Education

• Previous bartending experience preferred; must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol, per state law; high school diploma and/or equivalent work experience; TIPS certified preferred; Allergy Awareness training helpful.
