Job summary

Richmond County Country Club is seeking a part-time Bartender to work on-site at Staten Island, NY. You will greet members, take orders, and prepare a range of beverages while ensuring responsible service and club standards.

Responsibilities include bar setup/breakdown, maintaining cleanliness, stock levels, and collaborating with serving staff and kitchen teams to ensure timely service during dining hours. Evening and weekend shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming, member-centric experience.
• Clear, professional Communication skills for interacting with members, guests, and team colleagues.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, including drink preparation, menu familiarity, and basic pairing recommendations.
• Proficient Bartending skills, including mixing classic and signature cocktails, responsible alcohol service, and bar setup/breakdown.
• Previous experience in hospitality or club, hotel, or restaurant environments preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations related to alcohol service; relevant certifications (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) are a plus.

Role Description The Bartender is a part-time, on-site role based at Richmond County Country Club in Staten Island, NY. This role is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following club recipes and responsible service standards. Day-to-day tasks include greeting members and guests, taking beverage and food orders, setting up and breaking down bar stations, maintaining cleanliness and stock levels. The Bartender collaborates closely with serving staff and kitchen teams to ensure timely service during regular dining hours. This position also supports the creation of a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests professionally and upholding club policies and safety guidelines.. Qualifications. . Salary: from $18 hourly
